About Me
At one time I would have described myself having a “Going with the flow” attitude, what do I mean by that? I was an underachiever in the high school; below-average grades, uncertainty about the future university, the lack of pushing forward in general. Time was passing by and I was okay with that. I was not about to change anything about the situation, myself. Heck, what for? It wasn’t until my time in college that I decided to change my Laissez-faire approach to life into the “Break the Mold” principle. I reached college and realized it was meant to be the catalyst for my transition into a more excellence-driven mindset.
Despite being in a different country, surrounded by a new culture and language, for the first time in my life I discovered studying could be enjoyable. As time went on, I got to know my new surroundings and found the people around me consisted of outstanding individuals. Thanks to these experiences the firmware in my head got new upgrades positively patching me towards improvement and discovery. Mathematics became one of my favorite subjects in college. Its branches gave me new ways to perceive the world. Calculus, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, and Discrete Math. It was also in college I had started learning the basics of programming. Initially it did not hooked me as much as math, but it would later in the uni. The more time I dedicated around this “Kingdom of Precision and Rigidity” there was a strong need for some means of self-expression or pastime that swelled inside my mind. This is how car photography emerged as my hobby. Seeing people building their rides combined mathematical precision and its driver’s self-determination and ingenuity is an incredible sight; what better way to encapsulate those moments forever than with photography? College was also the first time I was exposed to often gym sessions, although, it did not last long enough to become one of my hobbies (at least not until the university, where I gained a lot more time in the gym). This brave new world had enlightened me, but inevitably it was time for me to leave. I received my degree from the college and got accepted to the uni. The university and its country were one big rusting relic.
College was more difficult in comparison to the university but both contributed to the refinement and quintessential change that was needed for my life to develop into what it is now. After university I have become more involved in programming, where my focus mainly revolved around Data Science: statistics, data bases and Python.
Why 'Kanzler'?
I got that nickname for reading a book in German history at college.
